Visit duration

Visits to the exhibition are unlimited during opening hours. We recommend that you allow around 1h30. The duration depends on how much time you wish to devote to each work, and whether you wish to read all the information available. Experience shows that using the multimedia guide prolongs the time spent in the exhibition. Once you've left the exhibition, you can't return.

What items are not allowed on display?

The following items are forbidden on the premises and will be confiscated by security personnel:

  • all beverages in glass bottles, cans, PET and tetra-bottles
  • gas bombs, dyes, corrosive substances or substances otherwise harmful to health
  • foods of all kinds
  • glass liquids, cans and other containers
  • professional cameras, video cameras and recording devices of all formats, selfie sticks
  • laptops, tablets, computers
  • weapons of any kind, objects that can be used as weapons or projectiles, laser pointers
  • backpacks and bags larger than A4
  • sports equipment such as roller skates and kickboards
  • banners, signs larger than A2 and flags with stems over one metre long
  • fireworks, sparklers, smoke bombs, other pyrotechnics and bengals, including launchers
  • animals (except guide dogs)
  • objects, clothing and/or media with racist, xenophobic, violent or discriminatory content or imprint.

Prohibited items can be deposited in a 2CHF locker.

Accessibility

The exhibition is suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Food and beverages

It is forbidden to eat or drink in the exhibition area.

Photography and filming

Yes, there are no restrictions in this respect.

Multimedia guide

Yes, the ticket price includes a comprehensive and informative digital guide with descriptions and graphics, accessible on site via a QR code with your own smartphone.

Payment

Payment can be made by credit card or cash.

Strollers

Yes, space permitting. On busy days, we may ask you to leave your stroller in the reception area.

Souvenirs

The exhibition store offers a wide range of souvenirs for Banksy fans: from postcards, magnets and mugs, to stylish T-shirts and hoodies! You can also create a Banksy-style T-shirt using a stencil and spray paint (plain T-shirts are also available on site).

Animals

Only one guide or assistance dog may enter the show. It must be registered in advance at: info@mystery-banksy.ch

Epilepsy

Flashing lights are used in the exhibition. If this is a problem, please contact the staff on site (visitors will be informed of the parts of the exhibition concerned).
